The Details of Laghu Sabdarda Sarvaswam.

The greatest of all his works (Magnum Opus) is 'Sabdhardha Sarvasvam' (Encyclopedia in Sanskrit). This work contains all subjects in Sanskrit. This work started in 1865 and was written over a period of Thirty Five Years little by little. But he could not complete this work even with in his life time. This unpublished work of his still there with Sriman Paravastu Ramanuja Swamy who is his grandson and is the Principal of the Vizianagaram Maharaja's Sanskrit College. With the sole purpose of printing and publishing this particular work, Rangachariar founded 'Arsha Printing Press'. In spite of his hard efforts, he could not proceed beyond the first two parts which contain the subjects coming under the first two alphabets (a and aa). These two parts were printed in small Telugu letters. And contain 650 pages. From this, we can understand, how elaborate this work of Sanskrit would have been, had it been completed and printed. The Maharaja of Vizianagaram, Sri Ananda Gajapathy had promised to arrange for printing in Nagari letters. It is sad that he passed away before that could happen.

This work which should not perish at any time, would be the very light of the world of Sanskrit, if it is printed and published. In 1869 Lord Carmachael wrote a book on Visakhapatnam District and in it he has mentioned about this great work and another work called 'Sarvasabda Sambodhini' written by this father, Srinivaschariar.
